Half way done with 2nd semester

So, I am 6 weeks away from being half way done with my MBA. Holy shit. It went by fast. I have to admit, I'm excited for a change of scenary, as much fun as the happy hours and various events are- I'm excited about being a part of the work force.

Spring Break was AWESOME. Peru was kick ass, did lots of stuff, hiking, white water rafting, drinking, etc. great time!!

Finals and midterms all went a lot better than I thought- all this slacking is surely paying off!

BTW- things are looking better with the ex, we sorted out the money issues, and we are communicating again- which is great. It's so hard to let go of someone that you were so close to- that you shared everything with. I felt like I lost half of myself.

This semester we have a class on leadership, which involved getting feedback from people as to what to improve upon. I have to admit, I thought I knew myself pretty well, but I really got slammed by some people. I'm goign to take it all with a grain of salt and re-visit it later.

And, in reference to someone asking about career changers and banking- don't worry about it, 98% of people are career changers. and, trust me, after a semester of recruiting, if you DONT know what banking is, you shouldn't be interviewing for it anyways. Know what you are getting into!!!
